Maggie Broda – Visual Artist, Writer, and Educator.
Maggie Broda, is an Ontario based Freelance Visual Artist, and long time Muskoka Arts and Crafts member, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Associate of the Ontario College of Art.
Maggie’s work is in private collections throughout Canada, she is the OCAD University Alumni Association’s President. Maggie is a contemporary painter, interviewer/writer and art advocate. President Emeritus of the Women’s Art Association of Canada, Muskoka Arts and Craft Member, Executive Board Member at John B Aird Gallery.
Artist Statement:
“My paintings express a passion for creativity and the environment both urban and natural, created in acrylic with brush and palette knife. The texture and movement captures the poetic spirituality that is inherent in art. “
